Adelphi Real World is a global consultancy in healthcare.  We collect and interrogate real world data to aid the pharmaceutical industry in understanding the management and treatment of specific diseases. This understanding informs the successful development of pipeline assets and the positioning of inline products. Real world data can also be used to leverage Health Outcomes / Economic argumentation through statistically validated publications

 

The Role

This entry level role is to join the Statistics and Data Analysis team in providing support and development on analysis for Adelphi Real World.  Thus, gaining a good understanding of all relevant statistical methods and data analysis  within the research process. There is a clear career path within Adelphi Real World which provides on the job training. Assessment systems are in place to provide monitoring and a platform for the candidate to develop. Accountabilities

  • To perform statistical and data analysis in statistical packages (primarily Stata) and Excel, with supervision
  • Data manipulation
  • Variable creation
  • Analysis and script writing in statistical packages
  • Excel Dashboards
  • Summary reports
  • To work with project teams to determine analysis needs
    • Attendance of internal meetings / client teleconferences
  • Able to assist in writing protocols and statistical analysis plans, with supervision
    • Planning future studies and associated analysis
  • Able to assist in writing reports, and reviewing publications, with supervision
  • Interpret and summarise statistical output
  • Explain complex methodologies in layman’s terms

Must have recently achieved a degree level qualification in mathematics and/or statistics

  • A high level of interpersonal skills and working as a team player.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • A high level of numeracy, analytical, and interpretive skills.
  • Proactive approach to work.
  • Basic Excel, Word are essential
